In need of a (cheap) getaway

Work has been really busy these last few weeks.

And if you include that three day (plus one day for setup) conference for which I was involved as the Secretariat, running around making sure all the sessions were running smoothly, I'm actually amazed that I made it through in one piece.

I'm just feeling a little overstretched, to quote from Bilbo Baggins,

"...I feel thin... sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread. I need a holiday. A very long holiday..."

Yes, I know that I just went to Bangkok. But that was a different sort of holiday, and it was not exactly a restful one, given all the walking, shopping and eating we did.

I feel like I need to get away to someplace else where the pace of life is slower... much slower.

Sigh...

Perhaps some deserted island elsewhere would be good.
