Sentosa - Singapore’s Island ResortThe last time I went to Sentosa was almost a year ago, for D** and Z***’s Solemnization. Even then I didn’t really go anywhere except around the hotel. So that doesn’t really count. The last time that I remembered really exploring the island was during my JC days. Damn… that was really long ago!
I wasn’t too sure what to expect. After all, this is an island that has been specifically designed and built to cater primarily to tourists.
Normally, visiting Sentosa would be the last thing on my mind. In fact, I’ve never really thought much about it. But since I’ve got complimentary entry tickets to some of the attractions as part of a photography competition, I thought I might as well make use it. So this would be part 2 of my “de-stressing” program this weekend.
So early Sat morning, I woke up at 9am and got ready to go. (Yeah, 9am is really early for me for a Sat. I usually target to wake up at 10plus.)
Long story short, I’m really impressed with what they’ve done to the 3 main beaches of Sentosa (ie: Palawan Beach, Siloso Beach & Tanjong Beach). Each beach has a unique character that would appeal to different people.
Anyway, I spent almost the entire day there, walking around, shooting pictures (got almost 400 pics to go through) and just generally trying to relax. It was a rather nice way to spend the day, although sometimes, it did feel a little lonesome, especially when the evening came around. Kinda sad that there was no one to share the experience with. Sigh..
Here are 2 pics from the evening. I’ll put up the rest later.

As for the loneliness...hmmm, thinking of anyone in particular?
