All alone in the moonlight
It’s a beautiful night out here, with the full moon. The skies are clear, and the first stars of the evening are starting to add their sparkle to the canvas. The evening is cool and the crickets are …ermm… chirping?
Sitting out in the open, looking at the moon brings back some fond memories – memories of strolls under the moon’s softlight.
A friend once said to me that a person should just forget the past and move on. But how does a person do that without losing a part of themselves? After all, our memories and experiences shape and define us. To erase a part of our past, is to me, almost like killing a little of ourselves.
Sigh…I miss her so much.
Memory
All alone in the moonlight
I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember the time I knew what happiness was
Let the memory live again

Some memories do not need to be forgotten. You don't have to lose bits of yourself...But my friend, you do hv to move on. Living life in the past obstructs you from what could be in store for you in the future.
Don't have to forget those memories, just have to move on in our lives and make each day count. I believe in you my friend and i know if you set yourself on something, you'll reach it. We're behind you.
