I didn’t sleep much on the bus because I was pre-occupied with taking pictures and just taking in the scenery outside my window. At last count, I have a total of over 1500 shots. Hopefully, there will be some decent pictures in there to show. I'm still sorting them out.

Once we had reached Mumbai, we had lunch and then started on our tour of Mumbai. We had a short stop at the local Dhobi Ghat, and then proceeded to visit the Gateway of India. After which we had some time to visit some shops.

Sounds like a pretty short trip, doesn’t it? Well, the Mumbai traffic jams stretched that short itinerary into an almost six hour trip. Add that to our traveling time to Mumbai, we have a grand total of 10 hours in the bus.

So it’s no wonder that by the time we settled into our plane seats at 12.30am that same day, most of us were already starting to nod off into sleep. I tried to watch some movies but I also fell asleep after watching about 5 minutes of “Devil wears Prada”.

The next thing I knew, the cabin lights came on, and a voice over the PA system announced …“Good morning. This is the Captain speaking. We will be arriving in Singapore in about 30 minutes. Kindly return to your seats and fasten your seat belts…”

With that, I was awaken from what seemed like a very short sleep. Not that I minded very much. Afterall, in just another hour or so, I’ll be home in my own bed.

Ahh.. there’s just no place like home.

PS: My voice is getting back in bits and pieces, and I don't sound like some sleezy, wheezing mafia boss anymore but my throat still feels like there’s a rat scratching inside there. Think I need to go pop another lozenge. Sigh…the stoopid haze in S'pore ain't helping either.
